There is another irony as well when it comes to our Constitution that has recently come to the news. Our Constitution protects individual liberties from the government by the Bill of Rights which are the first 10 amendments. Yet our own government has been promoting using our federal tax dollars for reeducating federal employees in “Critical Race Theory.” This is a far left anti-American ideology that suggests the United States is an inherently evil country, and that, “race itself, instead of a biologically grounded and natural fact, is a socially constructed concept that is used by “white” people to further their economic and political interests at the expense of color.”
According to the Critical Race Theorist, here are the seven bigoted and racist notions that makes America evil:
-Nuclear family unit
-Objective rational linear thinking
-Hard work is the key to success
-Work before play
-Competition is good
Thank goodness President Trump has pulled the funding for this dangerous training. If you look at these seven notions, any person of any race, creed or color, would benefit from these applied in sufficient measure to their lives.
Last session, the Oklahoma Legislature dealt with a similar theory funded by the federal government through a potential grant from the Oklahoma Department of Health. House Bill 3088 was proposed with the concern that infant mortality was higher among children of color because white healthcare professionals did not take care of them as they should due to “Implicit Bias.” HB3088 says “Implicit bias” means bias in judgement or behavior that results from subtle cognitive stereotypes, that often operate at a level below conscious awareness and without intentional control; and “Implicit Stereotypes” means the unconscious attributions of particular qualities to a member of certain social group, influenced by experience, and based on learned associations between various qualities and social categories including race and gender.
In other words, if you are a family oriented, hard-working, healthcare professional who competed with other medical professionals to achieve good grades and graduated, who believes in objective science and not some unscientific, unproven social justice theory, then you are a bigot and do not know that you are until you have been reeducated with this training.
This passed the Oklahoma House with 62 votes in favor. Fortunately, there were 33 of us who could see through this nonsense. It was not heard in the Senate.
What is also ironic, are the ones who promote this philosophy who are dead silent when it comes to being concerned with the destruction of babies of color through the strategic location of Planned Parenthood in areas that are predominately populated by people of color. Not to mention that the organization’s founder wanted to eliminate all people of color through the practice of eugenics.
Critical Race Theories all work in symphony with the Marxist agenda of the haters of America. Whether it is the rioters burning, looting and murdering in the very communities they are supposedly concerned with, or calling for the defunding the police, these are Marxist hell bent on destroying our western culture that has been a beacon of freedom and hope to the world. We are an exceptional nation not because of color, but because our nation allows us the freedom to apply the seven notions described above that make all people better.
I believe that communism is another sad, bizarre chapter in human history whose last pages even now are being written. I believe this because the source of our strength in the quest for human freedom is not material, but spiritual. And because it knows no limitation, it must terrify and ultimately triumph over those who would enslave their fellow men. Ronald Reagan
State Representative Tom Gann (R-Inola) is one of the “Top Conservative Legislators” with a 90 percent score on the Oklahoma Conservative Index.
